The exhibition celebrated five decades of tapestry artist Wilna Simpelaar’s practice, bringing her work from the Netherlands to Ahmedabad for a showcase inspired by her engagement with India. Developed over an intense five-day production sprint, the exhibition centred on her tapestries, with light and spatial
arrangement shaping how visitors encountered the works. A tapestry occupied the heart of the space, where Wilna also wove live in front of visitors, bringing the process of making into the exhibition itself.
