The gallery explores kinship and inheritance within nomadic pashmina-producing communities. A film is projected onto aworking loom, while a migration map traces cyclical movement.
At the centre, a yak-skin dwelling, passed from father to son,invites visitors inside, using sensory cues like tea to evoke lived experience.
Outside, luxury pashmina products contrast the communities’ realities with the lifestyles their labour sustains.
